ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey has been the team’s best pass catcher this season. The rookie is the WR51, averaging 9.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. He has averaged six targets per game, seeing six or more in all but one contest.
McConkey has two receiving touchdowns this year, the second-most on the team. More importantly, the rookie leads the Chargers in receiving yards market share (29.2%), target per route run rate (30%), and first-read target share (30.5%) despite ranking third in route participation (76.9%) this season (per Fantasy Points Data).

Unfortunately, McConkey has an awful matchup against the Denver Broncos in Week 6. The Broncos have held wide receivers to only one receiving touchdown and 16.6 fantasy points per game, the second-fewest in the NFL.
However, the rookie receiver is an excellent stash candidate. His role on offense will continue to expand, making him a potential league winner in the second half of the season.
