ANALYSIS: Miami Dolphins running back Jaylen Wright has flashed star potential in his rookie season. The former Tennessee star has averaged 5.6 yards per rushing attempt over the past three weeks, posting a 6.6 or higher average in two games. More importantly, he has played well the past two weeks despite Miami’s offense struggling with Tyler Huntley under center.
Wright has only 11.8 half-point PPR fantasy points over the past two weeks. However, the rookie had 13 rushing attempts for 86 yards and 8.6 fantasy points against the New England Patriots. Yet, his playing time significantly increased after De'Von Achane suffered a concussion in the game.
Injury Update | RB De'Von Achane is being evaluated pursuant to the concussion protocol and is questionable to return.

The Dolphins have their bye in Week 6, giving Achane two weeks to clear the concussion protocol. Meanwhile, Raheem Mostert played last week after missing time with a chest injury. Therefore, Wright’s fantasy value is minimal.
Fantasy players in deeper leagues can add Wright off the waiver wire, hoping the rookie can carve out a role after the bye week. However, he is far from a must-add, especially in standard-size leagues.
