ANALYSIS: Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner has always been one of the more underrated fantasy football running backs. The veteran isn’t a superstar but provides fantasy players with consistent RB2 production.
Conner is the RB17 over the first three weeks, averaging 13.2 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. He has scored 17.8 or more fantasy points in the first two games, finding the end zone in both contests. Unfortunately, the veteran had a down Week 3 performance, totaling nine rushing attempts for 17 yards and three fantasy points.

Yet, fantasy players should expect a bounce-back game from the veteran running back. He faces a Washington Commanders defense that has surrendered 20.8 fantasy points per game to running backs, giving up at least 22.2 in two contests this season.
Furthermore, the Commanders have allowed opposing running backs to have at least 97 rushing yards and a touchdown in back-to-back games. Conner has top-three upside in what should be a high-scoring matchup against Washington.
