The NFL Draft is always one of the most exciting days for organizations and fans, but fans of teams with more than one first-round pick are even more excited and overjoyed. In the 2024 NFL Draft, three teams have multiple picks on Day 1.
Landing two studs on the first day of the event can be franchise-changing, so these three teams are certainly worth watching.
Why do the Bears, Cardinals, and Vikings have two first-round picks, and who might they target with their selections on Thursday? Let's dive in.

2024 NFL Draft - Chicago Bears Draft Outlook
The Chicago Bears have the No. 1 and No. 9 overall picks. The ninth selection is their pick based on the 7-10 season in 2023, while the No. 1 overall selection comes via the Carolina Panthers. Last year, the Panthers traded a haul of picks and DJ Moore to Chicago to acquire Bryce Young.

Our latest expert mock draft by Kyle Lindemann has Chicago selecting USC quarterback Caleb Williams first overall. He then projects Chicago to trade down to the No. 14 slot via the New Orleans Saints and select Texas defensive lineman Byron Murphy II.
2024 NFL Draft - Arizona Cardinals Draft Outlook
In last year's draft, the Cardinals traded the No. 3 selection to the Houston Texans in exchange for picks No. 12 and 33 in the 2023 NFL Draft and Houston's first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The trade was criticized at the time since Houston was supposed to be one of the worst teams in the NFL, but they vastly exceeded expectations. Now, the Cardinals have the No. 4 and No. 27 overall picks.
Lindemann expects Arizona to land Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and Penn State edge rusher Chop Robinson in the first round.
2024 NFL Draft - Minnesota Vikings Draft Outlook
In March, the Minnesota Vikings sent the No. 42 and No. 188 picks in this year's draft and a second-round pick in next year's draft in exchange for the Texans' No. 23 overall pick (via Browns). There have been rumors that the Vikings would like to package their two first-rounder to trade up for a quarterback, but that buzz has quieted recently. Either way, Minnesota has pick 11 and pick 23 heading into Thursday.
In Lindemann's mock, he projects Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy to land with the Vikings with the 11th pick. He then predicts the Vikings will trade out of pick 23, sending that draft choice and the No. 129 overall pick for Washington's No. 36, 67, and 100 overall picks. With Minnesota landing their QB of the future in their draft slot, the need to trade up would be gone.
