The Miami Dolphins have signed veteran edge rushers Justin Houston, Bruce Irvin, and Malik Reed just days before the wild-card game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Miami has lost Jaelen Philips (Achilles), Bradley Chubb (knee), and Andrew Van Ginkel (foot) for the season due to lower-body injuries, so depth is running thin at the important position. Houston has totaled 112 sacks during his 13-year NFL career, but he logged just half a sack with the Carolina Panthers in seven games this year. Irvin, a 12-year NFL veteran, has compiled 56.5 sacks in 141 career games. Reed has 16 sacks in five seasons. Ultimately, none of the new signings are expected to be difference-makers, but all could be factors in a linebacker's room that has been decimated by injuries.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBallerRead More News
