Philadelphia Eagles rookie defensive tackle Jalen Carter (ankle) and cornerback Darius Slay (knee) are both expected to miss the Week 6 game against the New York Jets. Carter is dealing with an ankle sprain that he suffered in practice this week, but it isn't considered serious, so he will likely be back in Week 7 in a showdown with the Miami Dolphins. Slay's injury isn't considered serious, either, so he should also have a chance to play next weekend against Miami. Carter leads the Eagles D in QB pressures (23), hurries (17) and sacks (3.5) in his first five NFL games. Slay is Philly's most important cornerback, so the Jets offense will be catching a break this weekend if both Carter and Slay are inactive. Still, fantasy managers should leave the Eagles defense/special teams unit in their starting lineups.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
