With 19 laps to go in Sunday's Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400, Kyle Larson was battling with Bubba Wallace for the lead when his No. 5 Chevrolet got loose and slammed into the outside wall. Larson's team wasn't able to fix the car before the Damaged Vehicle Policy expired, relegating the 2021 Cup Series Champion to a disappointing 31st-place finish. Larson led 99 laps in Sunday's race and won Stage Two but earned just 16 points due to the wreck. He is now just two points above the cut line in the Playoffs standings with Talladega and the Charlotte Roval remaining in the Round of 12. This situation is definitely something to keep an eye on, as Talladega hasn't been kind to Larson, and he could find himself on the brink of Playoffs elimination in a couple of weeks.--Jordan McAbee
