The Pittsburgh Steelers will open the 2023 campaign with a home matchup against a San Francisco 49ers offense that averaged over 26 points per game last season. Pittsburgh's defense was solid at home last year, limiting opponents to just over 18 points per contest while recording 1.5 takeaways and 2.4 sacks. The Steelers were extremely active in free agency this summer, adding veterans at many defensive positions, and of course, will still feature superstars T.J. Watt and Minkah Fitzpatrick.
