The top two favorites from both ATP and WTA are: Medvedev -10000 & Zverev -1000 and Vondrousova -3000 & Jabeur -650. I will guide you through Day Two of the US Open starting at 11:00 A.M. EST.

This is a match made in heaven, similar to Daria Saville yesterday. Purcell is as cheap as they come tomorrow and he has one of the best matchups on either Tour. O’Connell has just three wins in his last ten matches with only one coming on hard court – Toronto Masters Qualifier –. Meanwhile, Purcell has been upping his game, defeating the likes of Harris, Ruud, Wawrinka and Grikespoor on hard court. He has proven himself time and time again that he is now ready to play with the big boys and this is expected to be a quick 3-0 straight set win.
Marketa Vondrousova - DK $11K | WTA Rank: 9
Opponent - Na-Lae Han | WTA Rank: 241
Can she do it back-to-back? Vondrousova is coming into this Round One match with a major chip on her shoulder, literally. She is the reigning winner of Wimbledon 2023 and she has continued her stellar form winning five of her last seven matches after the grass grand slam. Han has not won a single Tour match in her last ten matches and out of her five wins in that window, three of them came in US Open Qualifiers. This is about as easy as they come.

Tallon Griekspoor - DK $8.2K | ATP Rank: 24
Opponent - Arthur Fils | ATP Rank: 48
After a decent run of form in Washington, Griekspoor has cooled off following a straight-set defeat to Daniel Evans in the Finals. Since then Griekspoor has won just one of four matches. Fils, however, has struggled to win any Tour level hard court match in his last ten and he even struggled at Wimbledon, losing in Round One. Both players do favor clay court, although, Griekspoor has proven success on hard court as well. It would be shocking if Fils takes a set here.
Katie Boulter - DK $8.6K | WTA Rank: 61
Opponent - Diane Parry | WTA Rank: 88
Boulter will be coming into this match with her head held high, knowing she was successful in their last meeting – won in straights at Indian Wells this year –. Both players are entering this match on roughly similar form, however, Boulter has played strictly on grass and hard court, whereas, Parry has been mainly on clay court – her preferred surface –. Vegas has this matchup much closer than it should be. A repeat performance of Indian Wells for Boutler is on the cards.

If we get prime Duckworth, he could easily break the slate and if we get lazy Duckworth, the match is over before it starts. Nevertheless, Duckworth is in a great spot to advance to Round Two tomorrow. Both players are coming into the meeting in similar form. The one major difference is Duckworth prefers hard court and this will be his major sticking point in a hopeful win Meligeni.
Sebastian Baez - DK $5.7K | ATP Rank: 32
Opponent - Borna Coric | ATP Rank: 23
Betting a clay court player to beat a hard court player on hard court is not always a recipe for success, although in this specific meeting, it is warranted. Baez has proven his skills on both clay and hard court in his last ten matches, winning Kitzbuhel and Winston Salem. Furthermore, it just so happens to be that his most recent win at Winston Salem, he had to beat Coric to advance into the finals – won 2-1 –. This makes this meeting that much more interesting. Remember to consider that there is significant risk in this play. Baez has played a lot of tennis in a short window and it could impact him in a longer match – BO5 –.
