11 months agoWashington Nationals outfielder Victor Robles (back) has been placed on the 10-day injured list with back spasms in his lumbar spine. Fellow outfielder Derek Hill has had his contract selected from Triple-A in a corresponding move. It's been a resurgent season for the former top prospect at the plate as Robles is hitting .299 with eight steals and a .749 OPS across 126 trips to the plate. Clearly, a refined swing and approach have paid off as the 26-year-old sports an 8.7% walk rate that is more than double his 4.2% mark from 2022 while his tiny 14.3% K% is miles below his 23.2% mark for his career. Despite his success, his lack of power with zero homers and a minuscule .065 isolated power leaves him safely on the waiver wire in most fantasy formats.--Brenton Kemp - RotoBaller
