PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Dylan Cease less than 5.0 strikeouts
Cease has not been the same strikeout machine in 2023 that he was in 2022. He has struck out six or more just twice since April 16th and has a very difficult matchup against Cleveland tonight. Over the previous two weeks, the Guardians are posting the lowest K right against right-handers with a rate of just 15.9%. Cease also faced these Guardians in his most recent start and he managed to mow down just three of them across 6 1/3 innings pitched.
MacKenzie Gore more than 5.5 strikeouts
This is a perfect spot for Gore, especially considering the revenge narrative. All kidding aside, Gore has struck out at least six in all but two starts in 2023. He has a fantastic matchup against his former team in the Padres as they have posted the fifth-highest K rate (28.1%) vs. left-handers over the previous two weeks. They have also posted an abysmal 66 wRC+ over this span, which should make him less likely to get lit up.
Logan Allen more than 5.0 strikeouts
Allen has come on strong for the Guardians, posting a 3.04 ERA with 29 strikeouts through his first 26 2/3 innings pitched. He has struck out five or more in four of his five starts thus far and has a solid matchup against the White Sox tonight. Over the previous two weeks, the White Sox are posting the ninth-highest K rate vs. lefties with a rate of 25.5%. They are also posting a lackluster 6.4% walk rate, which should help Allen as he has walked eight batters thus far.
Luis Robert Jr. more than 8.0 hitter fantasy score
We are going back to RObert Jr. tonight even though he let us down last night, and while I do like the Logan Allen K prop, Robert Jr. can still have some success here. On the season, RObert Jr. has posted a 1.300 (!) OPS against left-handed pitchers with three home runs across 35 plate appearances. Robert also went 2-for-3 with a double last week in his matchup against Allen and could certainly find more success on the road today, where he has posted an .806 OPS.
