Chicago White Sox starter Lucas Giolito will make his second appearance of the season on Friday, taking on Rich Hill and the Pittsburgh Pirates. His first game of the year was encouraging, as he pitched five innings and gave up two earned runs against the Houston Astros while striking out six and walking just one. Giolito had his worst campaign since 2018 last season when he posted a 4.90 ERA with 177 strikeouts over 161.2 innings and a concerning 61 walks and 1.34 HR/9. The right-hander can certainly bounce back in 2023, and he's almost a must-start in most formats against a pretty shallow Pirates offense.--Spencer Seguin
