The New Jersey Devils have made a major move in the trade market, acquiring Timo Meier from San Jose Sharks. The full details of the deal have yet to emerge, but it has been confirmed that Meier will change teams for the first time in his career. The Swiss star, who has recorded 31 goals and 21 assists in 57 games this season, will be joining the league's fifth-most prolific team and should be able to have a big finish for the campaign in his new surroundings. His first priority will be getting back healthy again after missing the final three games of his stint in San Jose with an upper-body injury. Meier, who is a pending restricted free agent, featured in 451 regular-season games in total for the Sharks, registering 154 goals and 316 points.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
