Florida Panthers center Aleksander Barkov (lower body) is on track to return to action Thursday against Montreal. He hasn't yet been fully cleared for action, but head coach Paul Maurice has said that he's hopeful of getting the team captain back Thursday. There will be a final evaluation of Barkov's status after Thursday's morning skate. Florida's star centerman has missed the past three games with a lower-body problem. Health issues have robbed him of 10 games in total this season, with Barkov only appearing in 25 contests, putting up six goals and 16 assists.
