ANALYSIS: Evan Engram disappointed in Jacksonville's Week 12 upset win over the Baltimore Ravens. Engram pulled in just one catch for four yards.
It was the latest underwhelming outing for the Jags TE, who looked to be on the rise earlier in the season, but has managed little production of late. He's now totaled 37 catches for 356 yards and a TD in 2022.
Despite Engram's recent lack of production, he remains heavily involved in the Jacksonville offense. He played 81% of the team's snaps in Week 12 with high route participation.
While the final stat lines haven't been pretty, Engram's underlying usage almost demands attention at the always-tough TE position. Fantasy managers in desperate need at TE should give the talented Engram a look as a streamer in Week 13, as he draws an enticing matchup against the lowly Detroit Lions. Detroit has allowed the NFL's third-most TDs to the TE position this season.
