DraftKings and FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/14/22): NBA DFS Lineups

NBA DFS sleepers and values plays for DraftKings and FanDuel on November 14, 2022. Juan Carlos Blanco gives you his top NBA DFS picks and lineup targets.

We're set for a solid seven-game slate Monday night, with some featuring teams that tend to play at accelerated paces facing off against one another.

There are some very good options in favorable matchups across each price point on the salary cap at each position, setting up what should be a fun night of lineup construction for both cash games and tournaments.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/14/22. Remember to monitor the NBA injury report as the slate can completely change before lineups lock, which is at 7:00 pm ET tonight. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Stephen Curry - PG, GSW vs. SAS ($10,200 DK; $10,600 FD)

Curry checks into Monday's game on a significant scoring tear, shooting at least 50% in five straight games, including 53.3 percent to 58.3 percent from three-point range in three of those contests. The Spurs have allowed over 49 fantasy points per contest on either site to point guards per game, including the third-most assists per contest to the position (9.6). Additionally, San Antonio has allowed 40.0 percent three-point shooting on the road, which certainly bodes well for Curry's fantasy production given where a significant portion of it stems from.

Josh Giddey - PG/SG, OKC at BOS ($6,500 DK; $7,000 FD)

Giddey just turned in a triple-double against the Knicks on Sunday afternoon, netting 58.5 DK/51 FD points. The second-year wing has shot a scorching 16-for-23 from the field over his last two games combined, and his tendency to provide much higher rebounding (7.3) and assist (5.7) numbers than the average shooting guard certainly gives him a very dependable floor. His Monday matchup lines up nicely also, as the Celtics are surrendering over 44 fantasy points per game on either site to shooting guards, along with an elevated 46.1 percent success rate from distance to the position.

Jaden Ivey - SG, DET vs. TOR ($6,200 DK; $7,000 FD)

Ivey has already had some spike performances early in his rookie season, eclipsing 30 DK points on seven occasions, including 45 on two occasions. Ivey is also supplementing his solid scoring, rebounding, and assist numbers with strong work on the defensive end, as he's averaging 1.4 steals per contest.

The Raptors shape up as very good targets for him at his reasonable salaries Monday, as Toronto is short-handed in the backcourt without Fred VanVleet (illness) and is allowing the third-highest offensive efficiency rating to shooting guards (25.4). What's more, the Raps are conceding an NBA-high 47.3 DK points per game to twos, as well as the second-most FD points per contest to the position (45.2).

ALSO CONSIDER: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - PG, OKC at BOS ($8,900 DK; $10,000 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Paul George - SF, LAC at HOU ($10,100 DK, $9,300 FD)

George's recent performances don't quite meet the 5x threshold on his current salary on DK, but given his opponent and upside, he's certainly worthy of consideration Monday. George has already faced the Rockets twice this season and accrued 75.3 DK/78.8 FD points in one of those contests.

The star wing is also putting up the second-highest shooting percentage of his career (46.3), and he's facing a Rockets team surrendering 52.6 percent shooting to small forwards, along with the fourth-highest offensive efficiency rating to threes (25.5). Houston also happens to give up an elevated 39.3 percent shooting percentage from three-point range at home, while George is averaging the second-most three-point attempts per game of his career (8.1).

Keldon Johnson - PF, SAS at GSW ($7,100 DK; $7,100 FD)

Johnson is sporting season-long averages that outpace his current salaries, as he's averaging 38.3 DK/35.6 FD points per contest. The fourth-year pro is putting up a career-high 23.6 points on a career-best 42.9 percent success rate from the three-point range while taking a career-high 8.8 attempts per game from behind the arc. Johnson has yet to dip below 30.3 DK points or 28.6 FD points, giving him one of the safest floors in the mid-range at any position. The Warriors have generally been a tough matchup for small forwards, but Johnson's versatility keeps him in play in a matchup that should have a very fast pace with both teams ranking in the top five in possessions per game.

Chris Boucher - PF, TOR at DET ($5,600 DK; $5,900 FD)

Boucher should once again see an elevated role in Monday's game with Siakam and Precious Achiuwa (ankle) unavailable, and he'll be in an excellent position to outpace his very appealing salaries against the porous Pistons frontcourt. The big man already comes in running hot, having generated over 30 fantasy points on either site in each of the last two games, including over 40 in his most recent contest against the Pacers on Saturday night.

Boucher logged 31 and 28 minutes in those games, and a matchup versus a Pistons squad allowing the seventh-highest offensive efficiency to frontcourt players and the third-highest to power forwards specifically certainly leaves him poised for more success. Detroit also surrenders the sixth-most points in the paint per game (53.1), while Boucher is scoring just under half his points (49.6%) in that part of the floor.

ALSO CONSIDER: Mikal Bridges - SF, PHX at MIA ($6,400 DK; $6,300 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Bam Adebayo - MIA vs. PHX ($8,400 DK; $8,000 FD)

Adebayo just came off two games where he capitalized on the porous Hornets frontcourt, scoring 41.8 to 51.8 fantasy points on DK and FD in that pair of contests. Monday, he'll find himself in another matchup where he should be able to win his fair share of battles, as the Suns are surrendering the 11th-highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (32.4), along with over 50 fantasy points per game to the position on either site. Adebayo offers a very steady floor with averages of 37.8 DK/37 FD points per game, and if Tyler Herro (ankle) were to sit out Monday, it's worth noting Adebayo sports a solid 25.0 percent usage rate with his teammate off the floor.

Wendell Carter Jr. - ORL vs. CHA ($7,500 DK; $6,500 FD)

Carter will have a chance to thrive in that aforementioned matchup against the Hornets, one that's yielded the league's highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (36.2), along with an NBA-high 64.2 DK/64.1 FD points per game to the position. Charlotte is also yielding the seventh-most points in the paint per game (52.3), whereas Carter is already scoring just under half his points (49.0%). Then, the big man is averaging 34.6 DK/32.7 FD points per game, and he's demonstrated an ability to outpace those averages significantly by hitting or clearing the 40-mark on three occasions on DK and clearing 50 fantasy on both sites once.

Alperen Sengun - HOU vs. LAC ($6,800 DK; $6,500 FD)

Sengun has been thriving in his starting role thus far this season, averaging 17.7 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.1 blocks across his first seven games with the first unit before atypically running into foul trouble against the Pelicans in his most recent game. Sengun has already played well in both his previous encounters with the Clippers as well, doing well in the matchup down low against Ivica Zubac by scoring 30.8 DK/48.8 DK and 30.3/47.6 FD points in those contests. Los Angeles continues to facilitate strong production to centers, allowing over 54 fantasy points per game on either site to the position.

ALSO CONSIDER: Jakob Poeltl, SAS at GSW ($6,700 DK; $6,900 FD)
