Carlos Carrasco Set For Simulated Game Monday
Carlos Carrasco (oblique) will throw a simulated game Monday. He had been sidelined since August 16 with a low-grade left oblique strain. Barring any setbacks with Monday's simulated game, the Mets right-hander is expected to begin a rehab assignment shortly after. He owns a 3.92 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and a 124:33 K: BB across 126 1/3 innings in 2022. The 35-year-old threw a bullpen session earlier in the week and is on track to join the Mets rotation sometime next week. Fantasy managers with an open IL spot should continue to stash Carrasco in all league formats.
