Michael Fulmer Moved To Twins
Detroit Tigers relief pitcher Michael Fulmer has been traded to the Minnesota Twins. This adds on to the already big day for the Twins. The Tigers will receive right-hander Sawyer Gipson-Long in exchange for Fulmer. This season, Fulmer has a 3.20 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and 39/20 K/BB ratio through 39.3 innings of work. The additions of Fulmer and Jorge Lopez should hopefully be a significant upgrade to Minnesota's bullpen. As for Detroit, they receive a fairly decent arm in Gipson-Long. He has pitched well in High-A and will hopefully move quickly through the minor league system.
