Tyler Stephenson Takes Batting Practice On Wednesday
Tyler Stephenson (thumb) took batting practice on the field at Great American Ball Park on Wednesday. According to manager David Bell, he could begin a rehab assignment soon. The 25-year-old slashed .305/.361/.468 with five home runs and 31 RBI over 141 AB before landing on the injured list. His next step will be to face live pitching before beginning a rehab assignment. Before the injury, Stephenson has been one of the most consistent fantasy catchers in the game, and managers should continue to stash him in all league formats.
