The defending NBA-champion Golden State Warriors used their first-round pick (29th overall) to select guard/forward Patrick Baldwin Jr. out of U of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Baldwin was a five-star recruit out of the high school class of 2021, ranked fifth overall in the class by ESPN. He wound up disappointing overall in his lone collegiate season at Milwaukee, averaging 12.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.1 turnovers per game while shooting just 34.4% from the field. Baldwin has guard-like skills but stands at 6-foot-9, drawing immediate comparisons to former Warrior Shaun Livingston. Baldwin will likely need some time to allow him to develop, but his landing spot certainly couldn't have been better.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBallerRead More News
