2025 Fantasy Baseball Starting Pitcher Rankings: Top 150 - Roto Leagues (January Updates)

Paul Skenes - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

RotoBaller's 2025 fantasy baseball starting pitcher rankings for roto leagues (January updates). Use our tiered SP rankings to win fantasy baseball drafts.

It's an exciting time for baseball! At RotoBaller HQ, we have already released our overall fantasy baseball rankings for roto leagues and will break down each position in the upcoming weeks. Today, we focus on pitchers with our 2025 fantasy baseball starting pitcher rankings and tiers for 5x5 mixed roto leagues. There is a plethora of talent in this year's starting pitcher pool to choose from as we broke it down in our ranks below.

The battle for the top ace in 2025 essentially comes down to Pittsburgh Pirates' electric right-hander Paul Skenes vs. Detroit Tigers southpaw Tarik Skubal. Skubal was the top pitcher last season after posting a 2.39 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, and a 10.7 K:9 over 228 innings. Skenes was incredible over 133 innings, posting a 1.96 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, and 170 whiffs over 133 frames, winning the National League Rookie of the Year award. Find out who RotoBaller has first among the two aces and where other key pitchers, such as Jacob deGrom, Spencer Schwellenbach, Roki Sasaki, and Spencer Strider, are listed in our 2025 pitcher ranks.

The starting pitcher rankings below are specifically designed for traditional roto 5x5 mixed leagues (click here for points leagues, dynasty leagues, and prospect rankings). We also have many other tools and resources to help you win in 2025 drafts with our 2025 Fantasy Baseball Draft Kit.
