Zach Ertz fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 3 (2024). Should you start or sit Zach Ertz for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end TE1
ANALYSIS: Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz has been used as a safety valve in the middle of the field for rookie QB Jayden Daniels and should be viewed as a low-end TE1 on Monday evening.
Through the first two weeks, Ertz earned eight targets (four in each game) and caught seven of them for a combined 90 yards.
Ertz led the team in receiving last week in their victory over the New York Giants with 62 yards.

The veteran tight end has been given looks down field as he sits with a strong aDOT of 10.4 yards and has earned 32.4% of the team's air yards.
While the Commanders lack a proven No. 2 wide receiver, Ertz has emerged as a contributor in this offense and should see a solid floor of targets every week.
Entering as 7.5-point underdogs, the Commanders may be forced to lean on their passing attack late in this game which should bode well for Ertz. Feel confident starting Ertz as a low-end TE1 this evening and a solid flex option in DFS.
