Davante Adams - Las Vegas Raiders
Let's just get this one out of the way. Davante Adams wants to be traded and is the best receiver to potentially be available on the trade market. However, he's not the most realistic option for KC, as the Raiders are unlikely to trade Adams to a division rival.
Still, the Chiefs should 100% be putting out feelers about Adams, even if the Raiders rebuff them.
Amari Cooper - Cleveland Browns
If the Chiefs want to make a major splash, Amari Cooper is probably the most likely player for the team to target.
An absurd 45% of passes directed at Amari Cooper have qualified as "off target" this season.
We haven't seen an off-target rate that high for a player with 40+ targets since at least prior to 2011.

The Browns are a disaster, sitting at 1-4 on the season right now. Cooper has 20 receptions for 208 yards this season and looks to be heading for one of his worst years in the NFL. A move to Kansas City could salvage his year and give Patrick Mahomes a high-end No. 1 receiver.
Romeo Doubs - Green Bay Packers
The Packers suspended Romeo Doubs in Week 5. The team is stacked at wide receiver, so don't rule out a trade that could send Doubs elsewhere. In 2023, Doubs caught 59 passes for 674 yards and eight touchdowns. A fresh start in KC with Patrick Mahomes could be just what Doubs needs to reinvigorate his career.
Mike Williams - New York Jets
The Jets are the favorites to land Davante Adams. If the team does, that would make former Chargers receiver Mike Williams expendable.

Williams has just 10 catches for 145 yards this season as he's played behind Garrett Wilson and Allen Lazard, but KC knows firsthand that he can be a valuable red zone target.
