Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 7:

Kenneth Walker III, RB, Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks believe running backs Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet "complement each other well" and will "continue to vary their usage according to their weekly game plan and opponent," according to ESPN's Dan Graziano. Through six weeks, Walker III has recorded 425 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns on 86 total touches, while Charbonnet has logged 186 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns on 64 total touches.

As long as both backs are healthy, it appears it will remain difficult for fantasy managers to fully trust either one for high-end fantasy production. In Week 7 against the Houston Texans, Walker III profiles as a low-end RB2 while Charbonnet profiles as a low-end flex option.

Breece Hall, RB, New York Jets

New York Jets running back Breece Hall is the name that comes up most often in league-wide running back trade talks, according to ESPN's Dan Graziano. Hall is in the final year of his current contract with the 0-6 Jets, so he's a logical candidate to get moved before the NFL trade deadline. The 24-year-old has recorded 560 yards from scrimmage on 105 total touches through six games this season, although he's yet to find the end zone.

A move to a better team would likely help Hall's touchdown production, although he could end up splitting more backfield work depending on the destination. If Hall were to get moved, Jets running back Isaiah Davis would likely take on a huge share of the backfield snaps in New York. In deep leagues, Davis is a stash candidate who could pay off big time for fantasy managers down the stretch.

Jameson Williams, WR, Detroit Lions

Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams caught six of his seven targets for 66 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's Week 6 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He led the team in receiving yards and put an end to what had been a frustrating few weeks for the deep threat. Over the last three weeks, Williams had failed to surpass 6.5 fantasy points (PPR) in a single game.

He scored nearly triple that number on Sunday night, giving him momentum ahead of a Week 7 clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He's a high-ceiling, low-floor WR3/flex every week.

Jaylen Waddle, WR, Miami Dolphins

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle posted another solid game in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Chargers, Miami's second full game since losing wideout Tyreek Hill (knee) for the season. Waddle led the Dolphins with eight targets and hauled in six catches for 95 yards. The 26-year-old has now recorded 29 catches for 390 yards and three touchdowns on 40 targets through six games this season.

In the two games without Hill, Waddle has been much better, recording 12 catches for 205 yards and a score on 17 targets. He profiles as a must-start fantasy wide receiver, although Waddle and the Dolphins will have a tough matchup in Week 7 when they travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns.

Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans Saints

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara turned 10 carries into just 31 yards, but had a season-best receiving game with five receptions for 45 yards in the loss to the Patriots. He continues to struggle establishing the run behind a Saints offensive line still developing chemistry, though he salvaged some value through the passing game.

He has still only found the end zone once this season, which came back in Week 1 against the Cardinals. His 3.8 yards per carry is his second-lowest of his career, and his 72.6 total yards per game is also a career low. He remains a volume-based RB2 and will face a Bears defense in Week 7 that has allowed five rushing touchdowns through five games.
