DraftKings Quarterbacks - Week 13 DFS Picks

Joe Burrow - KC @ CIN ($6,900)

Imma just leave Joe Burrow here, as it feels like he's in this article every week. I'm once again on the Burrow bandwagon, as this matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs carries the highest O/U (53) of Week 13 and is the marquee game on the DraftKings Main Slate.

Needless to say, this is an environment I want exposure to and I'll gladly take that in the form of Joey B., a player that's scored the fourth-most DK points at the QB position this season and possesses a ceiling that's arguably as high as anyone's, yet still lingers in the $6k price range.

Playing well, Burrow has scored 18 or more DK points in nine of Cincinnati's 11 games this season. He's expected to get Ja'Marr Chase back in the mix this week against a KC secondary that's allowed the NFL's second-most passing TDs (22) and tenth-most passing yards (2,804) to opposing QBs.

Trevor Lawrence - JAX @ DET ($5,900)

The first overall draft pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, Trevor Lawrence put forth the best performance of his young career last week against the Baltimore Ravens. Lawrence threw for 321 yards and three TDs in Week 12's upset win over Baltimore. He is quietly coming into his own down the back half of his second season, as the Clemson product has now posted 21 or more DraftKings points in four of his last six games and has tossed six TDs to no INTs across his last three.

Brimming with confidence after last week's heroics, Lawrence glides into a pristine matchup against the Detroit Lions in the domed comforts of Ford Field. While many have a soft spot for Dan Campbell's underdog squad, the reality is that they've struggled mightily against opposing passing attacks. The Lions have allowed the most DK points in the NFL to the QB position, while standing 26th in the league in passing yards allowed (2,989) and coughing up 18 passing TDs.

DraftKings Running Backs - Week 13 DFS Picks

Josh Jacobs - LAC @ LV ($7,900)

Last week's 51.3 point explosion on DraftKings was a nice reminder of just how great Josh Jacobs has been this year. He enters Week 13 as the RB2 in DK points scored this year and his 1,159 rushing yards are the most in the NFL. One of the NFL's only true workhorse backs, Jacobs is averaging 24.1 total opportunities per game while playing 73% of the Raiders' offensive snaps this year.

While topping last week's 303-yard, two-TD masterpiece is unlikely, Jacobs gets another true eruption spot against the Chargers on this slate. L.A. is relinquishing a league-worst 5.63 yards per carry to opposing RBs and ranks 29th in the NFL in Rush Defense DVOA.

Aaron Jones - GB @ CHI ($6,900)

Despite drawing the best matchup he’s seen in weeks against the Chicago Bears, Aaron Jones’ DK price tag has actually to $6.9k on this slate, his lowest price point since the last time he faced the Bears all the way back in Week 2.

Jones gashed Chicago for 35.0 DK points in that matchup and he’s primed to roll yet again. If anything, the Bears unit is worse than it was earlier in the year, thanks to the departure of both Roquan Smith and Robert Quinn at the trade deadline. Chicago has allowed the second-most TDs, third-most DK points, and fourth-most rushing yards in the NFL to the RB position in 2022.

With Green Bay rolling out either a banged-up Aaron Rodgers or inexperienced Jordan Love at QB this week, I look for the Packers to lean heavily on Jones and the rushing attack in this one.

DraftKings Wide Receivers - Week 13 DFS Picks

A.J. Brown - TEN @ PHI ($7,800)

A classic revenge game spot for A.J. Brown this week, as he's set to take on a Tennessee organization that traded him on draft night. Brown has been a beast in Philly, posting 831 receiving yards and seven TDs on an impressive 28.4% team target share.

There's a strong chance Brown makes the Titans pay for trading him this week, as he has the potential to dominate a secondary that's been leaky throughout the year. Tennessee ranks 27th in the league in receiving yards allowed to opposing wide receivers (2,034) and 30th in TDs allowed to the position (14).

Garrett Wilson - NYJ @ MIN ($5,300)

I was oh-so-close to including Garrett Wilson in this article last week, and sure enough, Zach Wilson’s benching led to a 26.4 DK point explosion for the talented rookie.

Although his DK price tag has increased by a significant margin, I’m still in on Wilson, despite it admittedly feeling a little “chasey”. Why? Because Garrett Wilson is really, really good at football and has been held down with Zach Wilson at the helm for the majority of the year.

In seven games with Zach at QB, Wilson has topped 50 yards receiving just twice, while in four games without him he’s crossed the 50 yards benchmark in every single game. In seven games with Wilson at QB, he's averaging 8.80 DK points per game. That number spikes to 20.15 DK points per game when someone other than Wilson is throwing him passes. He'll again have Mike White pulling the trigger in a Week 13 meeting with a Minnesota Vikings secondary that has allowed the most receiving yards (2,173) in the NFL in 2022.

DraftKings Tight Ends - Week 13 DFS Picks

Travis Kelce - KC @ CIN ($7,900)

What can I say? He's Travis Freakin' Kelce. If you can find the money in roster builds, you want to play him. He is a positional separator like no other in the league, as his DFS ceiling is rarely sniffed by any other tight ends.

Kelce is .10 of a DraftKing point away from outscoring the next highest-scoring TE (Mark Andrews) by 100 DraftKings points this season.

George Kittle - MIA @ SF ($5,000)

Man...I love to watch George Kittle play football. Unfortunately, his all-out style has led to numerous injuries in recent years. While Kittle has now been a mainstay in the Niners lineup since missing the first two games of the year, we have seen some serious inconsistency in 2022. However, a 24.4 DK point outing against Arizona in Week 11 reminds us that there's still upside here and I'm betting on a ceiling game this week against Miami, a squad that's routinely struggled to slow down TEs this season.

The Dolphins have allowed the second-most catches (69) and third-most TDs (seven) in the NFL to opposing TEs. This unit ranks 29th in positional DVOA against the TE position and it's a spot in which Kittle could do some serious damage.
