Tuesday NFL DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings (12/21/2021)

Ben Skowronek - Fantasy

Mark Kieffer's top NFL DFS lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings on Tuesday Night - 12/21/21 two-game slate. His Week 15 daily fantasy football advice.

Tonight, we have a Tuesday night football two-game slate. We have the Philadelphia Eagles taking on the Washington Football Team, along with the Los Angeles Rams taking on the Seattle Seahawks.

Information keeps changing, we do not know who will start at running back for the Los Angeles Rams, there are some players we are not 100% sure if they will play. Be sure you check out the news and Twitter for the latest updates on the slate right before lock.

In this article, I will be providing you with my Week 15 Tuesday daily fantasy football lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings. These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks. Quarterbacks - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Jalen Hurts, QB - PHI vs WAS (DK: $6,500, FD: $8,200)

A bigger value on DraftKings than FanDuel, but I prefer Hurts on both sites. I like rostering quarterbacks with rushing ability as it provides a floor one can rely on and upside that other quarterbacks can only hit with the sheer volume of passes thrown. Hurts averages 57.92 rushing yards per game, which is on average nearly 5.8 fantasy points per game, something the other quarterbacks on the slate just don't have. On top of that, Washington has the No. 30 pass defense, allowing 259.1 passing yards per game.

At the time of this writing, Hurts is expected to play. If for some reason he is ruled out, then Matthew Stafford (DK: $6,700, FD:$8,500) is my favorite pivot. Seattle has the worst pass defense in the NFL, allowing 278.9 passing yards per game. The Rams are No. 9 in pass play percentage, passing on 61.41% of their plays.

Running Backs - DFS Lineup Picks

Running Back looks difficult tonight. There are not really any amazing options, just go with the two running backs you are the most comfortable with. I am going with the two that I think will get the most carries and hope it all works out in the end.

Antonio Gibson RB - WAS @ PHI (DK: $6,800, FD: $7,400)

After Gibson was the failed chalk last week, here is back again at the top of the running back list. He is the most expensive running back on both sites and he is expected to have a large amount of volume with Washington potentially starting Garrett Gilbert tonight. Philadelphia has the No. 13 run defense in the league, but it is the third worst out of the four games playing on this slate.

Miles Sanders, RB - PHI vs. WAS (DK: $5,700, FD: $6,700)

Yes, Kenneth Gainwell and Jordan Howard are likely going to get touches in this game, but Sanders should get the bulk of the work tonight. Washington has a good run defense, however, I think Jalen Hurts starting gives another dimension for Washington to account for. If Howard plays, he will likely have the goalline touches. I am playing Sanders hoping for a floor with yards and maybe breaking one for a touchdown. I do not expect him to have another 24 carries this week like he did last week.

Also consider: whoever starts for the Rams. Seattle has the No. 21 run defense in the league. Sony Michel has been on fire, Darrell Henderson is expected to play too. My lean would be Michel but the Rams are keeping this close to the vest. I would monitor the news prior to lock to see if there is more information about how they will be used. The fear is things are split evenly between the two and they each score eight fantasy points.

Wide Receivers - DFS Lineup Picks

Cooper Kupp, WR - LAR vs. SEA (DK: $8,800, FD: $9,500)

If you don't roster Cooper Kupp when he is on the slate, are you even DFS-ing? Kupp is averaging 114 receiving yards and 0.92 touchdowns per game. Seattle has the No. 32 pass defense in the league. He likely will be very chalky; it isn't difficult to get him in the lineup. At the same time, this is chalk to eat as if you miss out on him having a good performance you are paying the rake in your contest.

D.K. Metcalf, WR - SEA @ LAR (DK: $6,400, FD: $7,500)

It has been a down year for Metcalf and he was someone I was heavily invested in last week to only get 43 receiving yards against the lowly Texans. This week, Seattle will be down and will need to pass the ball. As long as he is healthy and priced below $7k on DraftKings, I am going to keep rostering Metcalf. The Rams just have the No. 23 pass defense in the league, so the opportunity will be there.

Terry McLaurin, WR - WAS @ PHI (DK: $6,500, FD: $7,300)

More of a GPP pick here. If Antonio Gibson is going to be the chalk running back of the slate, then I am going to consider rostering the passing game. Philadelphia has an average pass defense (No. 13 in the league) and McLaurin is such a stud that he is essentially matchup proof. I'm always going to roster one of the best Wide Receivers in the game in a lineup.

Also Consider: Odell Beckham Jr (LAR vs SEA) $4,900/$6,500, Van Jefferson (LAR vs SEA) $5,400/$6,400

Tight Ends - DFS Lineup Picks

Gerald Everett TE - SEA @ LAR (DK: $3,600, FD: $5,100)

On DraftKings, Gerald Everett is a no-brainer to me. I generally want to roster the cheapest tight end and pay up at other positions. He has caught a touchdown in two of the last three games, he faces his former team if you buy into the narrative street (I generally do not). If he catches a touchdown and the other tight ends do not, he has a chance to be the highest-scoring tight end on the slate. At the same time, he does not rack up many yards, he averages 26 per game, so he literally gives a floor of just three to four points which is tough.

Dallas Goedert TE - PHI vs. WAS (DK: $4,900, FD: $6,500)

Goedert is the safest play at tight end and provides the highest ceiling as well. He is the only one that has 100-yard receiving upside out of the tight ends on the slate. I wouldn't blame anyone for rostering Goedert on this slate if you can afford it.
