ANALYSIS: In the event that Trevor Siemian doesn’t play, Paxton Lynch may still be a recommended QB2 option. As of now, however, it sounds as though Siemian will be playing Sunday. Siemian has one of the best matchups in Week 5, as the Broncos return home to take on the Falcons. Atlanta currently ranks 31st against the pass with 317 yards allowed per game.
Siemian looks like he’s progressing more and more each week, posting a 141.7 passer rating in Week 4 before suffering a shoulder injury. If he ends up sitting this one out, it’s hard to advise against Lynch, even though he has never made an NFL start.
