ROSTERED: 4% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: It surprised many that the Bengals opted to go with as high-level of a wide receiver as Tee Higgins early in the 2020 NFL Draft when their need for an improvement to the offensive line still permeates, but the strength of the Bengals passing game has been on display over the first three weeks even if Joe Burrow is getting hit on every third play. At 6'4'', 215-lb., Higgins has the size to be a potent weapon in the pros, and with C.J. Uzomah out for the year and the likes of John Ross still struggling, he could be a regularly deployed threat for Cincinnati for the rest of the season aside A.J. Green and Tyler Boyd.
Higgins finished his final season at Clemson with 59 receptions for 1,167 yards (19.8 Y/R) and 13 touchdowns reeled in from QB Trevor Lawrence. He didn't see any action in Week One against the Chargers, but in Week Two against Cleveland he saw six looks for three catches and 35 yards, and then exploded with a huge performance in a matchup with the Eagles for nine targets, five receptions, 40 yards, and two touchdowns. His size makes him a viable end-zone target, and his yards-per-reception figures from college say a lot about his ability to gain after the catch and haul in the deep balls. Now that he has officially established himself as the Bengals third-best choice at WR with Joe Burrow getting a heavy workload over his first three games, Tee Higgins is one of the most reliable rookies in the game right now.
