Sunday Night Football DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings - Packers vs. 49ers

Aaron Rodgers - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Targets, NFL Injury News

John's top NFL DFS lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and Sunday Night Football - Packers vs 49ers. His Week 3 SNF daily fantasy football advice and value plays.

Happy Sunday and welcome to Week 3 RotoBallers! We've been pretty successful so far, and hopefully, that trend continues through this afternoon and tonight with SNF. Most of us started our fantasy journeys with football, so it's always nice when it comes around. Thanks to the advanced analytics of today, I'll do my best to provide you with as much in-depth analysis as possible regarding positional matchups and the like to help put some lunch money in your pocket. Let's make some coin this season gang, and let's get right to it.

I will be providing you with daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Sunday Night Football slate on September 26th. These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

DFS Quarterbacks

Aaron Rodgers ($16,000 FD, $11,800 DK)

We start off with the "bad man" as Stephen A. would say. Rodgers looked like himself again on Monday night against Detroit, but surely this one won't be a walk in the park. Now through two games, he's got 388 yards passing, four touchdowns and two interceptions. The 49ers have a -7% DVOA against the pass this season, and a pass rush to be feared. However, you know Rodgers harbors the fact that San Francisco passed on him in the draft all those years ago, and I think he comes to play.

Jimmy Garoppolo ($13,000 FD, $10,200 DK)

I couldn't imagine what goes through Jimmy G's head week to week as he continues to play for his job. He's played well this season though, completing passes at a 70.9% clip, along with two touchdowns and no picks, and has a 2-0 start to boot. He gets a strong matchup against Green Bay who has a 21.7% DVOA against the pass this year and has struggled against Jameis Winston and Jared Goff thus far.

DFS Running Backs

Aaron Jones ($13,000 FD, $11,200 DK)

Jones went off last week both rushing and receiving the ball, finishing with 115 all-purpose yards and four total touchdowns. This week proves a tougher matchup, with San Fran having a -4.5% DVOA against the run game and a -5% DVOA against pass-catchers out of the backfield. I think this one will be more of a shootout so I'll lean towards Green Bay's passing game, but we learned last week that you always need to have Aaron Jones shares.

Trey Sermon ($8,500 FD, $3,000 DK)

The young buck will finally get his shot in San Francisco's offense tonight, due to a number of injuries in the running back room. He's only gotten one carry this season when he was nearly knocked out last Sunday against the Eagles. He's good to go for tonight and has a good matchup against the Packers who have a woeful 41.4% DVOA against the rush this season. Using him as captain on DK opens a ton of value to fit big names in, so I'll be delving some of my captain spots to him on DK. I'm going to tread with caution, though, as we never really know what Shanahan's plan is with his running backs.

DFS Wide Receivers

Davante Adams ($14,000 FD, $11,400 DK)

When talking about the Packers, you can't mention Rodgers without Adams. Adams has still yet to break the end-zone this season but has still seen good volume with 13 receptions on 16 targets for 177 yards across the first two weeks. The 49ers played well against pseudo-rookie Jalen Hurts and the young Eagles offense but will have more trouble against Rodgers and the Packers. It's likely it'll either be Emmanuel Moseley, Deommodore Lenoir, or Josh Norman lining up across from Adams, and I think he will eat. I'll be splitting most of my captainship on the Packers' side of things between Rodgers and Adams.

Brandon Aiyuk ($9,500 FD, $5,600 DK)

I'll start this off with the fact that I do like Deebo Samuel more than Aiyuk, but we'll need the value here with Aiyuk. He gets a positive matchup tonight too as the Niners have a DVOA of 182.7% against No. 2 WRs this season, the worst mark in the NFL. Aiyuk has yet to get his feet under him this season, but tonight could be a good start. He's only seen two targets while playing 51.2% of the snaps, but the DVOA matchup is too good for these San Francisco pass-catchers tonight.

Other WRs: Deebo Samuel, Marquez Valdez-Scantling

DFS Tight Ends

George Kittle ($11,500 FD, $8,200 DK)

Kittle has yet to be truly unleashed this season, with just eight grabs for 95 yards in two games. He hasn't found the end zone yet either, but that could change tonight as he gets a strong matchup tonight against the Packers, who have a 31.4% DVOA against the tight ends this season. It's only a matter of time until Kittle gets more involved, playing over 97% of the snaps through the first two weeks. Tonight could be his season-breakout game, and I'll have at least a few shares of him at the captain spot.

DFS Defense/Special Teams

Mason Crosby ($9,000 FD, $3,800 DK)

I'm not a fan of either team's defense tonight, but I think it's more likely that San Francisco can get the Packers to stall and kick some field goals. That's why I like Crosby tonight, but if it's a shootout like I'm anticipating, I don't plan on rostering any D/ST tonight.

Other D/ST: Robbie Gould

Happy Football Season, Everyone!
