What Has Daniel Jones Done Lately?
New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has outperformed expectations in 2022. Jones has passed for 3,028 passing yards, 13 TDs, and five INTs while totaling an impressive 617 yards and five scores on the ground. He stands fifth in the NFL in rushing yards at the QB position.
Jones stands as the overall fantasy QB9 through Week 16. He is coming off one of his more impressive outings of the season last week against Minnesota, a game in which he completed 30 of 42 passes for 334 yards and a score.
Should I Pick Up and Start Daniel Jones In Week 17?
Jones isn't necessarily an exciting fantasy roster, but he has been largely effective in 2022. The Giants' signal-caller now draws a Week 17 matchup against the lowly Indianapolis Colts.
With a list of ailing quarterbacks that includes Jalen Hurts, Lamar Jackson, Tua Tagovailoa, and more, there are likely fantasy managers that enter "Championship Week" in dire straits at the QB position. Jones serves as a viable option for those GMs in need and can be considered a borderline QB1 against the Colts.
