San Francisco using a third-round pick on a kicker was certainly interesting, but it seems the team is ready to move on from Robbie Gould and has little holes on the roster elsewhere.

There are no fantasy football superstars in this year's 49ers' draft class, but it would have been a tough landing spot for a fantasy asset since they are loaded at running back, wide receiver, and tight end.

49ers 2023 Rookie Fantasy Impact

For what it's worth, Jake Moody could have a top-five upside among fantasy kickers next season. No matter who is at QB, we can expect the 49ers' offense to be a well-oiled machine. Moody got early draft capital for a kicker, so the job is likely already his -- even if he struggles early on.

Cameron Latu was another surprise third-round pick. He didn't test well and wasn't a high-level producer at Alabama, so there's not too much to get excited about with his profile -- especially since he's behind the superstar tight end George Kittle. The same goes for seventh-round tight end, Brayden Willis, who is not guaranteed a roster spot.

If Michigan's Ronnie Bell could be worth monitoring if he makes the 49ers roster, but he might be viewed as a pure special teams player. Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, Jauan Jennings, and Danny Gray will start clearly ahead of him on the depth chart, but even Willie Snead, Chris Conley, and Ray-Ray McCloud III could be in his way to securing a roster spot.

Again, there's just not much to be excited about from a fantasy football perspective with this draft class.
