NFL MVP Power Rankings: Top 10 Candidates Ahead of Week 16

No. 10 Joe Burrow - QB, Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow led the Bengals to their second straight victory over the Tennessee Titans to keep them alive in the playoff picture. In this game, Burrow tallied 271 passing yards with three scores.

Since Week 10, Burrow has thrown for at least 300 yards in all but one game. During this span he has averaged an impressive 346.6 passing yards per game with a 16:4 TD:INT ratio.

Jordan Love - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

No. 9 Jordan Love - QB, Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love got the Packers back in the win column this past weekend over the Seattle Seahawks. In this game, Love threw two TD passes while adding 229 yards in the air. This was also his fourth-straight game without an interception.

During this four game stretch, the Packers have won three out of four. In these games, Love has held a 7:0 TD:INT ratio while averaging 218.0 passing yards per game.

Patrick Mahomes - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

No. 8 Patrick Mahomes - QB, Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes won his 13th game of the season but was not overly impressive once again throwing for just 159 yards and two scores. Mahomes also left this game early with a high-ankle sprain which could cause him to miss sometime.

Despite only losing one game all season, Mahomes has not performed to his typical elite level. Across 13 games, he has held a 22:11 TD:INT ratio while averaging just 239.1 passing yards per game. He has only eclipsed 300 passing yards twice.

Jayden Daniels - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

No. 7: Jayden Daniels - QB, Washington Commanders

Jayden Daniels picked up his ninth victory of his rookie season by defeating the New Orleans Saints. In this game, Daniels went 25-for-31 with 226 yards, two passing scores and added 66 yards on the ground.

Even without his No.2 wide receiver Noah Brown (kidney) and No.2 running back Austin Ekeler (concussion) Daniels continues to lead Washington to victories. He has scored 23 total touchdowns in his first 14 games.

Sam Darnold - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

No. 6: Sam Darnold - QB, Minnesota Vikings

Sam Darnold had a quiet victory on Monday evening against a struggling Chicago Bears team. Darnold was only tasked to throw for 231 yards and a score in a game they were comfortably leading in throughout.

Since throwing six interceptions during Weeks 7 through 10, Darnold has turned things around and carried an impressive 12:1 TD:INT ratio over his previous five games. During this span he has won five-straight and averaged 277.8 passing yards per game.

Saquon Barkley - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

No. 5: Saquon Barkley- RB, Philadelphia Eagles

After totaling over 100 rushing yards in each of his past four games, Barkley took a step back this past weekend during their victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. In this game, Barkley missed some time due to an undisclosed injury but was able to only tally 65 yards on 19 attempts.

During Philadelphia’s current ten-game win streak, the Penn State product has averaged an impressive 125.3 rushing yards per game and found the back of the end zone eight times during this span.

No. 4: Jared Goff - QB, Detroit Lions

Even in a tough loss to the Buffalo Bills, Jared Goff enjoyed an incredible performance to keep his name near the top of the MVP favorites. In this game, Goff threw five touchdown passes with an impressive 494 passing yards.

Overall, Goff has been the leader of one of the best offenses in the sport all season. Across 14 games, Goff has tallied 30 touchdowns while averaging a solid 268.5 passing yards per game.

Jalen Hurts - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

No. 3: Jalen Hurts - QB, Philadelphia Eagles

After ceding the spotlight to the running game, Jalen Hurts led the way this past weekend to defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers and extend their wining streak to an impressive ten games. In this contest, Hurts went 25-for-32 with 290 yards and three total scores (two passing, one rushing).

During this win streak, Hurts has thrown just one interception while tallying 26 touchdowns (14 passing, 12 rushing). He has averaged just under 240.0 total yards per game.

Lamar Jackson - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

No. 2 Lamar Jackson - QB, Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens came out of their Week 14 bye-week and put on an impressive showing in their victory over the New York Giants. In this game, Jackson tallied 355 all-purpose yards with five passing scores. This was the second time this season Jackson found the end zone five times in a single contest.

Across 14 games, Jackson has posted an incredible 37:3 TD:INT ratio while averaging over 300.0 total yards per game. With a victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers next weekend, Jackson can inch toward another division title.

Josh Allen - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

No. 1 Josh Allen - QB, Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen somehow topped his incredible Week 14 performance by totaling 430 all-purpose yards with four touchdowns en route to defeating the Detroit Lions on their home turf.

Allen extended Buffalo’s winning streak to nine games. During this span Allen has scored 26 total touchdowns and averaged over 300 total yards per game.
