Ricky Seals-Jones (TE, CLE) - Week 5 Waiver Wire Pickups

BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues

OWNED IN: 1% of leagues

ANALYSIS: I've been very into the idea of tight end Ricky Seals-Jones for a few years now, but he never could put things together with the Arizona Cardinals. I eventually cut bait in all of my dynasty leagues, and of course now is when Seals-Jones might have broken out.

On Sunday -- and as a member of the Cleveland Browns now -- RSJ caught three passes for 82 yards and a touchdown. He played 30 percent of Cleveland's offensive snaps, which ranked third on the team among tight ends.

That's not a great stat, but with David Njoku sidelined by a broken wrist, there's nothing stopping Seals-Jones from passing Demetrius Harris and Pharaoh Brown on the depth chart. Seals-Jones is a former college wide receiver and can add an explosive element to a Browns offense that's been surprisingly unexplosive this season and isn't getting the kind of production from their wide receivers that they expected.

With tight end always being the hardest fantasy position to make sense of, why not add Seals-Jones in deep leagues if you're struggling at the position? Worst case scenario is you drop him next week, while the best case is that he becomes a key part of the Browns offense moving forward.
