Indianapolis Colts - NFL Betting Analysis

This week, the Indianapolis Colts are hoping to get back in the win column after falling 26-3 to the New England Patriots. The loss was costly, as it came against an AFC opponent. In terms of betting, Indianapolis not only lost the game but failed to cover the spread as 5.0 point underdogs. The team's combined scoring of 29 points fell below the posted betting line of 40. The Colts were not able to make a comeback in last week's game, as they trailed New England by a score of 16-3 heading into the final quarter. Through 9 games, the Colts have an ATS record of 3-6. So far, they have an over-under record of 1-8. This week's betting total of 42.5 is right in line with their previous games.

As the Colts prepare to take on Las Vegas, they are ranked 32nd in points per game at 14.67. Look for the team to put together a strong offensive performance vs. a Raiders defense, giving up 25 points per game. Throughout the game, Indianapolis should be able to move the ball through the air, as they are the 12th-ranked team in terms of passing yards. In addition, they are facing off against a defense that has been vulnerable in the secondary. On the ground, Indianapolis comes into the game as the 30th-ranked team in rush yards per game and are facing off against a defense giving up 116 yards per game on the ground.

Las Vegas Raiders - NFL Betting Analysis

Last week, the Raiders fell by a score of 27-20 to the Jacksonville Jaguars, giving them a loss in the AFC standings. Leading into the matchup, the Raiders were -2.5 point favorites, resulting in both a straight-up and ATS loss. The two teams combined point total of 47 remained below the betting line of 48. This was a difficult loss for Las Vegas, as they held 3 point lead heading into the 4th quarter. Through 8 games, the Raiders have an ATS record of 3-5. So far, they have an over-under record of 4-3-1. This week's betting total of 42.5 is lower than the line in their previous games.

As the Raiders prepare to take on Indianapolis, they are ranked 15th in points per game at 22.88. Despite Las Vegas coming into the game with a good matchup on offense, our projections show that the team could be in line for a tough game in terms of scoring. Although the Raiders come into the game ranked just 13th in pass yards per game, they will benefit from facing an Indianapolis secondary that is vulnerable through the air. We expect Las Vegas to have an above-average performance in the passing attack. On the ground, our projections show that the Raiders' offense will have its problems. Even though they have a decent matchup against Indianapolis, look for Las Vegas to come up with fewer rush yards than their season average of 110.25.

Today's NFL Betting Pick - Colts vs. Raiders

Over the last 3 matchups between Indianapolis and Las Vegas, the Raiders have won 2 of the last 3 games. The two teams have combined to average 56.33 points per game in their last 3 meetings. Last year, Las Vegas went into the two teams' only matchup as 8.5-point underdogs. The Raiders not only won straight up by a score of 23-20, but had an ATS victory. The over-under line was set at 46.0 points.

The Las Vegas Raiders have performed well vs the spread in recent games, going 2-1. On average, the Colts have averaged 29.33 points per game in the past 3 head-to-head matchups, compared to Las Vegas at 27.0.

Over their last 3 regular season games, the Colts have gone 0-3 straight up. In a similar fashion, the team's record vs the spread in these games was just 0-3. Their over-under record in this span was 0-3.

Through their last 3 road games, Indianapolis has an ATS record of just 1-2. However, their overall record was 1-2 while averaging 8.33 points per game.

Across their previous 3 regular season games, the Raiders have a straight-up record of just 1-2. Like their straight-up record, Las Vegas struggled vs the spread, going 1-2. Over these games, they put together an over-under record of 1-2.

When looking at their past 3 home matchups, Las Vegas has an ATS record of 2-1 while averaging 31.0 per game. The team went 2-1 overall in these games.

Recommended ATS Betting Pick: Raiders -6.5

Recommended OU Betting Pick: Over 42.5
