PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Emerson Hancock less than 4.0 strikeouts
Hancock has only thrown 10 innings thus far in 2023, but he has also only struck out a combined four batters across those 10 innings. He has made two starts and has failed to eclipse this total in either of them and has a tough matchup against the Astros in Houston. Over the previous three weeks, the Astros are posting just a 20% K rate vs. right-handers, which ranks ninth-best in baseball over that span. They are also posting a solid walk rate of 10.6% over that span, which could get Emerson into some trouble in this one.
Max Fried more than 5.5 strikeouts
Fried has eclipsed this total in three of his previous five starts dating back to April 28th. He has a matchup against the Giants, who are posting the fifth-highest K rate vs. left-handers over the previous three weeks with a rate of 27.2%. They are also posting an abysmal walk rate of 4.3% over this same span and are pairing that with a sub-1o0 wRC+ mark. This is a spot where Fried can certainly capitalize.
Eduardo Rodriguez more than 5.5 strikeouts
Rodriguez has been mowing down batters recently as he has struck out at least six in six of his previous nine games. He will be up against the Guardians who are not known as a high K rate team, however, they have been trending in the wrong direction recently and now have a 21.4% K rate vs. left-handers over the previous three weeks. What is really striking when it comes to the Guardians is their wRC+ mark over that same three-week span, which sits at a ridiculously low mark of just 17. Rodriguez should be able to do some damage here similar to the way Tark Skubal did on Firday when he mowed down seven Guardians across six innings pitched.
