Chicago Cubs outfielder Albert Almora (illness) has been scratched from Friday’s lineup with an illness. It’s a shame for Almora, who rarely draws starts versus right-handed pitching and would have Friday. Outfielder Ian Happ will replace Almora and bat first. Almora is day-to-day.
