Zay Flowers Could Be Special In His Rookie Season
1 year agoESPN's Dan Graziano writes that we shouldn't be surprised if Baltimore Ravens rookie first-round wide receiver Zay Flowers wins Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2023. Flower's ability to create separation has stood out in training camp, and other than tight end Mark Andrews, nobody in the team's receiving corps has a ton of experience with quarterback Lamar Jackson. Flowers went for more than 1,000 yards and had 12 touchdowns at Boston College last year and could put up big numbers right away in the NFL if Jackson clicks in Baltimore's new offense. We wouldn't blame fantasy managers for being skeptical on Flowers given the Ravens' history of flops at the position through the draft, but the 22-year-old isn't a bad WR4/5 upside target for receiver depth.
