Zach Sanford Explodes For Four Goals In Loss

It was an emotional game for St. Louis as they were playing for the first time since defenseman Jay Bouwmeester collapsed and suffered a cardiac incident in a game against Anaheim earlier this week. Sanford now has 12 goals on the season and has enjoyed his time playing on the top line. Ryan O’Reilly had two assists in the game. He has six helpers in the last five games. Overall, he has 41 assists and 51 points in 57 games. Vince Dunn and Alex Pietrangelo also had two assists. Jordan Binnington allowed six goals but also faced 52 shots. He has just two wins in his last 10 appearances. Sammy Blais and Brayden Schenn both laid nine hits a piece in this physical affair. The two teams combined for 93 hits.
