Yordan Alvarez Slugging .529 At Home
4 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez will try and snap out of his current slump when the team hosts the Dodgers at Minute Maid Park on Wednesday. Alvarez is stuck in a 3-for-26 rut but has been fantastic hitting at home this season. Through 21 games at Minute Maid Park, the 23-year-old is slashing .329/.356/.529 with 10 extra-base hits, 12 runs batted in and 14 runs scored. Alvarez will have a tough matchup, however, Wednesday against Dodgers starter Trevor Bauer.
