6 months agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Yonny Chirinos was pulled in the fifth inning of his start on Sunday due to middle finger inflammation on his throwing hand. He surrendered just one run on two hits, while striking out four and walking one as the Rays led 3-1 at his departure from the game. It's unlikely this is a severe injury, but we'll wait for more information from the Rays.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
