Free-agent outfielder Yasiel Puig, who didn't play at all in 2020 after contracting COVID-19 in July, is healthy while playing winter ball in the Dominican Republic and is looking to change some of his habits that "bothered" players and coaches in the major leagues. Puig has been a colorful player in his short time in the big leagues and has rubbed some coaches and teammates the wrong way with his personality. But he's looking to change that as he tries to land with a team for 2021. He was limited by a right leg injury this winter while playing for the Toros del Este, going just 3-for-13 (.231) with a double and an RBI in 20 plate appearances. But he's healthy now and will play in the postseason. The 30-year-old Cuban had 24 homers and 19 steals in 149 games in 2019 with the Indians and Reds and should attract some interest because of his power-speed combination, but it remains to be seen if he'll be offered an everyday job.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
