Wesley Matthews is Planning Buyout with Knicks
Wesley Matthews has agreed on a contract buyout with the Knicks and plans to sign with the Pacers. Matthews has $18.6 million left on his contract, so it was difficult for the Knicks to find a trade partner. Victor Oladipo (knee) is out for the rest of the season, so the Pacers is a solid landing spot for Matthews. Tyreke Evans would lose value if Matthews signs with the Pacers.
