Philadelphia Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds has been traded to the Predators for Ryan Hartman and a 2020 conditional fourth-round pick. Simmonds should immediately provide a boost to Nashville's woeful power play, which ranks last in the league with a 12.6 percent conversion percentage. Although Simmonds only has eight power-play points this season, he has scored more than 13 power-play goals and 20 power-play points in four of his last five seasons. It would not be a surprise to see Simmonds quickly find his way on to Nashville's top power-play unit, likely displacing recently acquired Brian Boyle. The arrow is pointing up for Simmonds, making him a very attractive add going into the fantasy playoffs.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
