Vinnie Pasquantino Hits Another Homer In Triple-A
3 years agoKansas City Royals first base prospect Vinnie Pasquantino continues to rake for Triple-A Omaha. On Wednesday, the slugger went 1-for-3 and went yard for his 16th homer of the season. Pasquantino has torn the cover off of the ball in Triple-A with a .282 batting average, 16 homers and 55 RBI. The Royals seem to think that isn't enough to replace Carlos Santana, who has sported a .188 batting average with two home runs and 11 RBI this season. Much to the dismay of fantasy managers, Pasquantino remains down on the farm, but with nothing really left to prove at this point. Despite the Royals resistance to promote the slugger, it should be expected that he will make his big-league debut at some point in 2022 and managers in all formats should jump at the opportunity to roster him.
