5 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen (ankle) needed stitches for a bad cut on his ankle suffered in practice on Wednesday, according to sources. The initial prognosis is encouraging for him playing in the Divisional Round against the 49ers on Saturday, but the team is gathering information and will proceed with caution. Don't be surprised if Thielen is limited or misses practice on Thursday, but he should still suit up this weekend. He didn't do much of anything in three games to close out the regular season after returning from his hamstring ailment, but Thielen looked healthy last week when he caught seven passes for 129 yards. Going up against a tough San Fran defense this weekend will present plenty of challenges, though.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
