5 years agoMinnesota Vikings owner Mark Wilf issued a statement on Friday backing head coach Mike Zimmer going into the 2020 season and beyond. "We value Mike and Rick’s leadership and we have every intent of Mike continuing as the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings and Rick leading our football operations, next year and beyond," Wilf said. Zimmer has compiled a 57-38-1 record with the Vikings since he became the head coach of the organization in 2014. But Minnesota has a 1-2 record in the playoffs in that time. It doesn't get any easier this year with a trip to the Superdome on wild-card weekend this Sunday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
