Victor Robles Dealing With Hamstring Tightness
9 months agoWashington Nationals center fielder Victor Robles (hamstring) went 0-2 in Saturday's game against the Houston Astros before being removed from the lineup with hamstring tightness. "It kind of tightened up on him a little bit, so I didn't want to risk it," Nationals manager Dave Martinez said. He was hit by a pitch on Wednesday and has been dealing with a knot ever since. The 26-year-old is considered day-to-day. Robles' 2023 season marked improvements at the plate, slashing .299/.385/.364 with a .341 wOBA across 126 plate appearances. Robles was limited to 36 games last season due to lumbar spine spasms. He will compete with Jacob Young for the center field job and will likely not be a viable fantasy option (NFBC ADP 677.9) outside of NL-Only League formats.
