Dallas Stars right-winger Valeri Nichushkin will miss the team's season opener against the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday due to a lower-body injury. The 23-year-old is heading into his second stint with the Stars organization in 2018-2019 after having spent the past two seasons playing for CSKA Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League. Nichushkin is expected to play on the Stars' second line when he returns to full health, having skated with fowards Jason Spezza and Mattias Janmark throughout much of the preseason. The former tenth overall selection of the 2013 Draft has posted 64 points (23 goals, 41 assists) in 166 career NHL games.--Chase Davis - RotoBallerRead More News
