Tyler Glasnow On Track To Return In Mid-May
2 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow (oblique) is on track to make his 2023 season debut for the team in mid-May. Glasnow was originally expected to miss six to eight weeks. While he might take a little bit longer before he makes his season debut, the 29-year-old right-hander is making good progress after starting to throw bullpen sessions last week. Glasnow was a bit more risky as a fantasy starter than other arms out there because of his injury history, but he has high-end ace upside when he's healthy. He made just two starts for the Rays in 2022 and has yet to throw more than 111 2/3 innings (in 2018) at the major-league level, but he shouldn't face any restrictions the rest of the way if he comes back completely healthy.
