Ty Gibbs Could Be A Solid DFS Option for New Hampshire
6 months agoThe No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota driver, Ty Gibbs, will start 18th in this week's USA Today 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. This is the first time that Gibbs will start inside the Top 20 at New Hampshire, but the second race in a row that he will start outside of the Top 10 this season. In his only previous NHMS Cup start in 2023, Gibbs started 36th and placed 27th. In his only Xfinity Series start at the site in 2022, Gibbs led 49 laps and placed 21st. In 17 Cup starts so far this season, Gibbs has eight top-10 finishes, including Phoenix, another flatter track similar to New Hampshire. In practice, Gibbs ranked 27th of all drivers in overall lap averages. Considering his equipment despite the slow practice speeds, past 2024 performances at flat tracks, and starting position, Gibbs is a solid DFS option capable of scoring some Place Differential and competing for a top-10 finish.
